Momma always said, that from the moment a woman is born, she is in debt for living in a man's world.
and that you could be the smartest, the funniest, or straight up the best at what you do, you'll always be three steps behind torn between gratefully accepting what gets tossed your way and biting the hand that feeds you. Life has never tried to prove this theory wrong in my experience.
My name is Kylie McFadden.
I am sixteen years old.
My dad left when I was seven so my mom and I had to move into a small trailer on the outskirts of town.
Mom made her money as a waitress(mostly, like mother like daughter) and the sporadic income made affording school just as sporadic.
After graduating first grade, it took my mom two more years before we could afford second grade.
nobody reports people like us to deyfus.
you have to "exist" to them first before they can call you shitty parents and messed up kids.
I'm terrified to love
and
i'm terriffied to yield
and I don't ever want to need nobody.
But mostly I'm just scared.
